Desann was a powerful Force-sensitive Dark Jedi Master who served as the primary antagonist in the 2002 computer game Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast.
He was a former student at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Praxeum, where he initially showed great promise. However, his arrogance and ambition led him down a dark path. He embraced the dark side of the Force and eventually deserted the Praxeum.
Driven by a desire for power, Desann sought to create an army of Reborn warriors, individuals infused with the Force through a process he discovered in the Valley of the Jedi. He used these warriors to terrorize the galaxy and challenge the New Republic.
Desann's plans were ultimately thwarted by Kyle Katarn, a Jedi Knight who had previously abandoned the Force. Katarn, aided by Luke Skywalker and other Jedi, confronted and defeated Desann, ending his reign of terror.
