Desann was a powerful Force-sensitive Dark Jedi Master who served as the primary antagonist in the 2002 video game Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast.
A former student at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy on Yavin 4, Desann embraced the dark side after encountering the teachings of the ancient Sith. He developed a technique to imbue himself and his followers with the Force using the Reborn energy through the Force energy of the Valley of the Jedi.
Driven by a desire to eradicate the Jedi Order, Desann orchestrated attacks on Jedi strongholds, including the Academy, seeking to steal Force energy and gain power. He ultimately faced Kyle Katarn in a climactic battle, where he was defeated, ending his reign of terror.
